The Hibbing Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to uplifting the diverse business community at the heart of the Iron Range we all call home. As a professional non-profit organization, we work every day to support business retention, growth, and long-term development throughout our region. We believe that every business, large or small and every individual plays an essential role in strengthening our local economy. By fostering collaboration, providing education, and advocating on behalf of our members, our mission is clear: to advance prosperity and elevate the unique character of Northeast Minnesota.

Northeast Minnesota is a rich cultural tapestry, and Hibbing stands as one of its most compelling cities. Known as the largest city by area in the state spanning an impressive 186 square miles. Hibbing is also the most populated community within the Taconite Tax Relief Area (16,077 residents).

Founded in 1893, Hibbing has continually evolved, transforming from its early mining roots into a vibrant center for innovation, manufacturing, and community life. Today, visitors and residents alike experience a thriving business environment, a spirited political climate, a charming historic downtown, and the awe-inspiring Hull Rust Mine View, one of the world’s largest open-pit mines.
