Anxious feelings, worries, or fears are common among children and adolescents. When it becomes extreme, it can interfere with a child’s overall happiness. This workshop is designed for people who work with children who have generalized anxiety, anxiety due to trauma and stress, separation anxiety, school anxiety, and all other types of anxiety. We will discuss general life events and biological factors that may invoke anxiety in school age children. This interactive workshop uses a variety of learning strategies, including lecture, discussion, group participation work, and demonstration.
