Hibbing has a longstanding tradition of educational excellence at all levels. The community remains highly supportive and continually strives to enhance the learning environment for students of all ages. From the arts to engineering and marching band to soccer; Hibbing schools have a broad array of courses and activities available at all age levels. The Chamber is an active partner, often collaborating with our schools to increase career and STEM programming in order to prepare our kids for the jobs of the future.

Blue Jacket Career Academy

Bluejacket Career Academies are optional student pathways that include a set of high school courses, possible post-secondary courses, and work-related experiences that will help prepare our students in their pursuit of high skilled, high demand 21st Century careers.  The real-world experiences will help strengthen the connections with local business and industry partners as well as give these partners a voice in the skills being developed.
