A computer, lap top, or mobile device (smart phone or tablet) with internet access is required to participate in the event.

*Enrolling students should have basic MS Word Skills such as creating and saving a document.

Event Description

In this class we will focus on the Word skills involved in formatting clean, professional cover letters & resumes. We will explore paragraph & line spacing settings, bullet points & columns, borders & shading, and tab stops. We will also learn about using appropriate font type & size, margins & orientation.

Registration will take place on MinnesotaWorks.net and should be completed 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. Once registration is confirmed attendees will receive an automated confirmation email with additional detail regarding the event including requesting an accommodation. Accommodation requests must be made 2-3 business days prior to the event.
