    Manages, plans, and supervises buildings/grounds operations on a daily basis
     
    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinates and performs the repair, maintenance, renovation, and cleaning of Agency buildings/grounds and systems
    • Receives work requests for buildings/grounds and confers with users and others on complaints and requests
    • Schedules and completes projects in timely and efficient manner
    • Orders equipment and supplies and maintains inventory
    • Coordinates, monitors, and inspects work performed on Agency buildings/grounds by contractors
    • Responsible for maintaining professional, effective relationships with vendors, contractors, and community partners
    • Provides technical support for building development and maintains lease and service agreements
    • Performs regular building/grounds inspections
    • Performs cost estimating/procurement per Agency policy and monitors program budget
    • Maintains and promotes safety in the workplace and serves on the Agency Safety Committee
    • Responsible for Corporate vehicles
    • Prepares required reports and submits information to funding sources
    • Supervises, trains, and evaluates maintenance/janitorial staff
    Qualifications:
    • Vocational degree in construction trades or commensurate education and experience
    • Minimum two years of experience relative to the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the building and mechanical trades
    • Demonstrated supervisory experience
    • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and safety requirements
    • Lifts up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, stoops, crawls, and climbs as necessary
    • Computer literate
    • Valid driver’s license
